Copying Verses into Word for Mac 2011

I am having trouble using the "Copy Bible Verses" feature with Word for Mac 2011. Worked fine with the 2008 version. Now I have to turn Logos off and restart it and it will copy one (1) verse and that's it. Any suggestions?

Curious about versions of Logos, OS X, and Word ?
Using Logos 6.0b Beta 3 on OS X 10.10.1 with Word 2011 (14.2.2), was able:
- Open Copy Bible Verses tool
- Choose passage with Microsoft Word destination
- Click Copy
- Open new blank document in Word 2011
- Click Paste
- Switch to Copy Bible Verses
- Choose a different passage
- Click Copy
- Switch to Word 2011
- Click Paste
After verifying Copy Bible Verses worked, updating Word 2011 to 14.4.7
Microsoft => http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads has AutoUpdate for Mac download link plus free OneNote for Mac link

I am having the same problem and have for a couple months. I have Logos 5, which I assume Dennis has too. Word 2011, and Mac Yosemite 10.10.1. I wondered if it was the Yosemite upgrade so I have just waited for Logos updates, but, like Dennis above, it works fine once, then the next times it pastes the verses into he little copy & paste verse window in Logos. You mention to hit copy, then go to Word and hit paste - however you should be able to just hit copy & paste and it automatically switches to Word and paste the verse right where the curser is.
It is really bothersome as I use this all the time, every day. Any ideas?
Thanks

Logos 6.0b Beta 4 on OS X 10.10.1 with Word 2011 (14.4.7) works fine with clicking "Copy & Paste" in Copy Bible Verses tool: three times with Philippians 4:4-9 (different Bibles) and thrice with 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28 (using different Bibles). Opened a blank document in Word 2011 before clicking "Copy & Paste" the first time.
Verbum 5.2b SR-8 on OS X 10.10.1 with Word 2011 (14.4.7) worked once using "Copy & Paste" in Copy Bible Verses; subsequently could change Bible (or verses), click "Copy", switch to Word 2011 (command tab), and Paste (command v).
Observation: 64 bit Logos 6.0b Beta 4 can repeatedly "Copy & Paste" into a 32 bit Word 2011 document while 32 bit Verbum 5.2b SR-8 currently cannot.

I appreciate the answer, but not exactly sure what it means. Does your last line mean that Verbum 5.2b is Logos 5 - and now it cannot copy and paste anymore? This such a key feature, will this be fixed? It has always worked before.

Yes and yes. Verbum is a feature-identical alternative installation of Logos, allowing KS4J to run two "Logos" installations with different versions under one user.

which indicates it's a Yosemite issue rather than a Logos issue. The outcome for you is the same, but I think y'all should know which people to yell at.

It seems it has been fixed for Logos 6 - I don't know whether they will downport it to L5 (if this is technically feasible - L6 changed some 'deep' coding that they will not be able to ship for L5.2). There's a free "engine only" upgrade to L6 coming in February and lots of paid upgrade possibilities right now.

Thanks Mick,
Not yelling at anyone, just trying to get copy & paste to work. Are you saying that Logos fixed the Mac issue with Logos 6 and will not do a fix for Logos 5? I've always updated my Mac OS and Logos continued to work. So is the only answer then Logos 6?

My answer is: 'I don't know'.

John, there is usually a period of time during which Faithlife supports a product but does not do new development. They are usually quite clear about when they are cutting off support and why. It is safe to assume that there is support until a notice of impending "doom" is given.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thank you, I appreciate your explanation. It is funny, of all the hundreds of features in Logos, I probably use the copy and paste as much as anything, when you're trying to have Scripture explain Scripture and use a tool like Treasury of Scriptural Knowledge for cross references, this feature is wonderful! Happy New Year to you all!
