Why is Ford Lewis Battles' edition of Calvin's Institutes not indexed by Institutes datatype? (Never

The Beveridge edition is indexed by InstitutesOfTheChristianReligion datatype (as listed here):

But the Battles edition is indexed only by page number:

This is irritating. Why even have a datatype for a multi-edition book if you're not going to hook up all the editions to that datatype? It makes it very difficult (i.e., impossible) to set up a reading plan with selections that do not line up on even page boundaries, which is required for reading through the Battles edition in a year based on this reading schedule. The Beveridge edition can be set up to read this way, but I want to read Battles, and that's the one the reading schedule I'm using is referencing with its sections.

Please fix it. ASAP, so we can get started with our reading!

This happens frequently in the Church Fathers. Welcome to the Verbum world. Faithlife did not develop an comprehensive datatype scheme in advance nor is adding a new datatype a simple clerical task. When they do finally create the datatype it can take some time to be retrofitted. A Google search should bring up Bradley giving me this info.

But the Beveridge edition has been out, with this datatype, long before the Battles one was even a twinkle the book acquisition team's eye. I've had Beveridge since Logos Series X (not sure when that shipped, but it was pre-2003), but Battles shipped May 13, 2013.

If a datatype exists already when a new resource is created, that resource should be shipped with the datatype hooked up to it.

I hesitate to ask you this, Rosie, but are you absolutely sure that the Ford Lewis Battles' edition isn't indexed by Institutes datatype?

I don't have this resource in my library - though I have every other Logos edition of the Institutes - but in the preview window on the website the datatype is visible:

Ah, you are right. I was only looking in the Prefatory material, where the Institutes datatype doesn't pertain. When I looked in Beveridge to compare, I just happened to click on a chapter where the Insititutes datatype was in force.
