I do not see an option to only specify a start time for an announcement slide unless I specify it is an all-day event and display the time in another field. Is there a "proper way" to not list the end time?
Hi Jeff,
I don't see a way to do this either and work round it using your method.
Even if I have a start and end time the format of the date looks somewhat odd outside the USA. Strange how Jan 5 2015 looks out of place while 5th Jan 2015 seems natural!
Calendar events automatically generate signals which allow the event time to be added to your mobile device's calendar. If I remember correctly I believe the calendar apps require an end time for events that are not all day. I can investigate further on Monday to make sure this is the case.
Hi Scott
If this is the case we need either the Calendar Field to be removed when the item is deselected – to make room for a replacement text field or a 'free form' option (possibly without signals) to allow for open ended events, non-American date formatting etc.
You might like to note that I am able to add an event that starts and finishes at the same time to iCal but cannot make this entry in Proclaim.
Did anything ever develop from this? I'd like to create some recurring weekly slides for events that have a start time but no ending time. Currently, I'm using the workaround mentioned earlier... create as recurring all-day event and then put the start time in another field.
