Can you produce content on a slide "live"? This might be necessary if the Pastor changes his scripture or message from the one originally loaded.
Can you produce content on a slide "live"?
If you mean 'live' as in on-air, then yes this is possible. While on air, you can create new service items and edit current service items; all you have to do is navigate to the edit area while on air and click on the slide you want to edit.
we tried this suggestion, but when it is "live", the presentation is full screen so the edit are is not availsble. How can this be overcome.
It sounds as if you have mirroring turned on so that what appears on the projector is the same as what appears on the computer.
Make sure your system preferences are set not to mirror.
and that your settings in Proclaim look something like this...
HI Carla - and welcome to the forums
Are you using one monitor or two?
Normally there would be a control computer (with its screen) and a link to a projector (for the congregation)
Editing would take place on the control computer and wouldn't be visible to the congregation.
Are you not seeing this?
Graham
And on Windows "mirroring" is "duplication"
You need to "extend displays" and not "duplicate" them
Agh 'Windows'
How quaint!
On Mac you can click CMD+` (Command + back tick) to cycle through all the windows of a single application, the presentation is a window and the application is a window. If you have the Media Browser up, it is another window you can cycle through.
On Windows (I think) it is Ctrl+Tab or possibly Ctrl+Click the app icon in the launch bar
