I cannot get the OSB Quick Screen to work on any of my installations. Is there some trick to it?
While I am on the air, during any slide, I am assuming I only need to click the OSB Quick Screen or use Command-O to get it to work. Is that correct?
CMD+O when OnAir shows the OSB Quick Screen edit box where you can type a reference and hit return to show that in the presentation. Even with a reference in this edit box, CMD+O does not change the presentation to the OSB Quick Screen, you must click return or the little sideways arrow image just next to the edit box. You do need an internet connection for this to work as well, we get the bible text from a call to our biblia servers.
Can you post your Proclaim.log there may be something in there that will let me know what is going on.

Thanks, but when I click or hit the shortcut nothing happens. The other quick screens work but not OSB. And I have multiple installations I have tried it on. Any suggestions? I am running the latest version on the latest macs. However, I will try again tomorrow.
Are you entering a Bible reference and clicking the enter arrow or pressing the enter button?
Hi Scott
I have tested this on my installation Mac OS X 10.10.2 and Mac 10.10.1 and running the latest update (and as it happens the one before).
Non of these versions respond to the On Screen Bible (OSB) Quick Screen. The other Quick Screens (Blank, Logo, No Text) respond when clicked on. Not so for the OSB.

Having trouble reproducing an issue on my 10.10.1 machine. Just to confirm, when you click the OSB quick screen button in Preview or On Air mode you do not see the OSB quick screen bar shown in the image below. What about using the keyboard shortcut (CMD+O)?
Mike-
Can you post your Proclaim.log when you click and also when you CMD+O for the OSB quickscreen not working. Scott and I have been unable to reproduce the issue.
Thanks
Glenn

I haven't posted the second log because I think I can see what the problem is.
As a user I expect the quick screens to be... well quick!
If I have an on screen bible text set up I want to be able to click it and 'quickly' move to that text.
It seems I have to go through a two step process - enter text - click on the arrow or, if the arrow is a cross push return.
This is counter intuitive and prone to error in the heat of presentations.
So yes I can get it to work - I can't get it to work well.
