Resource Location

Not at this point. We're trying to minimize incompatible / missing / broken resources by having the application control them. For this reason, at least in this release, you can't do your own file management, and we aren't sharing the resource locations across versions. (Many resources will be totally recreated for 4, too.)

Hi,
I couldn't find an answer to this, sorry if I missed it, but does this mean that PBBs should or shouldn't show up?
PBB books are not showing up in my library. I have them in subfolders of Resources and nothing is showing up in V4.

Ok, I was about to ask this same question...
Just please don't eliminate this functionality all together. Most laptops come with a dual partition and it is always tough for me to keep my C drive from overfilling. Being able to keep Libronix resourcs elsewhere is super important for me in that regard.

Bob, I have made note of this in a couple of other spots but will do so again here. I have a small boot drive, it is not large enough to hold my resources along with everything else that has to be there. When will be able to tell V4 where to install? I only have 2.49 gig fo C drive left and I need about 6 for my resources... it will not index at this point... I understand why this is not in the beta, but I also understand why I have my computer set up as I have it... if push comes to shove, the beta will have to go until this is resolved. thanks for the opportunity, but I hope that you understand that this will have to be fixed very soon for some of us to continue to help you iron out the bugs.

I also keep my resources on a separate partition from the application. I suppose, if I had to, I could install the entire application on the data partition.

steve, currently you can not do that even... I would done it as well. the program automatically installs on C only.

You are correct, sir! I just installed from the DVD on a second machine and noticed that I had no choice of an install directory.
I really would like more control over resource location

We will be adding this to the installer in an upcoming beta (I don't know if it will make Beta 2 or not). When it's available, you will need to uninstall, then reinstall the software to choose your new install directory.
