Did you know that all Logos 6 base packages come with a set of 28 training videos?

Watching one video a day for the next four weeks will get you up to speed with the latest features in Logos version 6. To access them, type "Quickstart" into the Library search box.

Excellent point, Martin.   And 1 video a day chews up my cellular too.  Ergo 'a manual'.

Thanks for the reminder Martin, I was trying to remember that keyword (quickstart) and you reminded me of it.  Saves me from calling to ask.

Good advice. I highly recommend them as they are very well done.

This is a great tip. I didn't know about that. But why is it specifically directed to SDA users? This deserves wider distribution, on the main Logos blog and in the General forum.

Yes I agree Rosie, lots of good tips are regularly given by the SDA product manager, that should be read by all. I am not a SDA but I appreciate Martin's wisdom when it comes to Logos.

Tried to watch on my phone via the Android app - Verbum 4.4.7 (Build 348) - not supported, though other video resources are.

Desktop open and ready to go - but without internet connection.

No Android app support for this resource = no joy. [:(]

Thank you, Kelvin. I am endebted to the entire Faithlife SDA community (all of you, in other words) to keep the wisdom flowing on this Forum. Our brother Lynden has been particularly generous in his many postings--but each of you has something to contribute.

I agree that this could/should be a general share on the Forum. Each product manager is responsible for his own denominational forum, so that's where I do my own sharing.

BTW, video presenter Morris Proctor is a good friend of Adventists and speaks to groups of SDA pastors sometimes. You can engage him on his website www.mpseminars.com

He's also one of the nicest guys you could meet, and his wife and other helpers. And he's entirely up-to-speed with the latest capabilities of the software.

Much joy - to watch the videos in Android requires a double tap.

I appreciate the tip. Logos is a great program but I find myself forgetting how to do things and being able to take full advantage of its resources. The video training is a big help to learning and if needed refreshing my memory.
