Problems with Proclaim Remote Today (2/8/15)

I had numerous problems with the Proclaim remote today from my iPad. It worked fine for practice. Then right before service it started having issues. It would just quit. It required me to log on numerous times. I tried to use it as a control and then the images/words on the slide would not load. I restarted, then it had me log in again. This time it appeared to work till during the service itself and I got a "failed" to load slide error. I tried using my iPhone but it just said it was connecting but never did. I restarted it during service at around 10:30 and then it finally started to work.

Very difficult morning because we base some of our service flow on using the Proclaim remote.

I'm sorry to hear the Proclaim remote was causing you issues this morning. What time and timezone were the issues you encountered?

Followed up with the services team and it sounds like we had two issues that would have impacted the Proclaim remote this Sunday.

8:15 - 8:22 Pacific Time - There was a problem with the cache used by the WebSync servers required by the Proclaim remote

9:30 - 9:36 Pacific Time - One of the WebSync servers became unresponsive and had to be removed from the cluster. The current theory is that its system clock became out of sync and it could not communicate with its domain controller.

I'm really sorry for any disruption this may have caused your service. Our top priority on Monday will be having a post-mortem on these issues and coming up with a plan to prevent them from happening again.

I had issues with it both this week and last week. Same time frame. The remote would say 'connecting' and never would connect again. Tried both the iPad and iPhone. Neither one would work. Both weeks were around 10:20 to 10:30 am central time.

I confirmed that this issue was present two weeks ago as well (that's when it started). This will be resolved early this week. Thanks for your patience.
