"Invitation to Genesis" question & issue with the product pages

What's the point of selling the "Invitation to Genesis" participant book and leader guide when you don't sell the video that they are meant to go with? Is there a plan to make that video available at some point? As far as I can tell, Vyrso does not have any video resources yet. Planning to change that in the future?
Also, both of the product description guides have this problem: the circled text is not clickable:

The point is that some people might want the eBook version of those resources. I don't own this one, but I own (and have used) at least 3 or 4 resources which fit into this category.

Well, I'd like to see them make the video available, since I don't have it and don't know where to get it. The participant book by Peter Enns looks interesting to me, but it would be useless without the video. That was more my point than suggesting they shouldn't be selling these eBooks. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Thanks for the suggestion Rosie!

You can get the DVD on the publisher's website: http://www.abingdonpress.com/product/9780687495221

Have you ever heard of Amazon? [:P]
I <think> THIS is what you need, but I admit it is confusing. It says "HARDCOVER," but I believe it is just the DVD. You might need to contact the PUBLISHER.
EDIT: Here is the publisher link to compare: http://www.abingdonpress.com/product/9780687495221#.VOua_kLFui4

This is fine for US customers but may not be a suitable option for international customers if the DVD is region limited ( the publisher does not make this clear) and the cost of postage for international customers may make such a purchase prohibitive. I agree with Rose Logos should look into having the video available, and put the whole package up as a Logos resource on the pre-pub page, assuming the publisher wants to play in that space, and see if there is interest in it or not.

You are all still missing my point. When a company offers a companion book that's supposed to go with a video, they should offer the video for sale too. Period. I'm perfectly capable of looking for that video elsewhere. I just didn't want to because I wanted to make this point here, and it's been made now and Brian got it. Thank you, Brian.
My feedback on these forums is often (usually) on behalf of others, not just a complaint for my own purposes. I might not actually have any intention of buying this video/course/book but it should be offered together as a bundle. That's all I was trying to say. So no need to help me when I make suggestions to Logos.

I strongly disagree. *
- One possible outcome of your philosophy is that they don't offer the resource at all. How is that helpful?
- Another possibility is that the resource is offered in a crippled state. The point of these videos are to be shown in a group setting. Does Faithlife have the experience and expertise to produce that? Do we really want developers stretched thin to accommodate it?
- If Faithlife did sell the video digitally, they would want to bundle it to make it worth their while. That would increase the cost. Is that what you are looking for?
- If Faithlife were to sell the DVD, it would likely be sold at a higher cost, with shipping added. Is that a good thing?

Same here.
*EDIT: My "strong disagreement" is with the "period." I have no problems with someone making the suggestion that Faithlife carry the video. My objection is the requirement that they sell the video before they can sell the eBook materials.

I should have used the word "Eventually." instead of "Period." I never intended to imply a requirement that they sell the video before they can sell the eBook materials. I was merely making a suggestion for the future. If you look back at my initial post, it was mostly a query as to whether they ever had any plans to offer the video. My creative "what's the point" wording was perhaps poorly chosen. And my strong replies were not because I disagree with people tempering my suggestion but because I did not want people to help me get what I wanted some other way. I was just making a suggestion, not trying to find help for myself. Faithlife is always free to take it or leave it when I make a suggestion. (I really do understand why other people sometimes feel they have to walk the gauntlet when they make suggestions on these forums.)
And I'm sorry I've been so curt and passionate on this thread, but what is going on in people's personal lives does sometimes impact how they respond online, and I've been having a rough week. And I apologize too if something in your personal life has made you push back at me more than you normally would.

EDIT: Now I realize that you probably read my "Period." as meaning Faithlife must comply with my suggestion or else. Rather, what I meant by it was "that's all I was saying, not implying that I wanted help with this for finding an alternative way to get the video." And I did find your "have you ever heard of Amazon" kind of insulting which is perhaps why I reacted so strongly. So again, apologies. We all can easily get huffy here when we misunderstand each others' intentions.

Sorry to hear this; I hope everything works out!
