Dual control of Proclaim
Currently I am using my own computer (Surface Pro 2) and a HDMI cable to a data projector to control Proclaim presentations. I'm the minister and currently run everything from the lectern.
There is a desire to have others be able to control Proclaim (at least for the songs) and I need to be able to control Proclaim at other times (eg during the sermon) when I will use some, but not necessarily all, of the slides I have prepared. In other words I need to be able to use a mouse or touchscreen to select slides, not just use a clicker to advance them in sequence.
We are at the point of upgrading our audio visual system and possibly putting in WiFi.
The question is: Can we have two computers running Proclaim and switch control from one to the other during the service? And if so, how would we do it? Windows will be the operating system.

Hi David,
You can only have one desktop computer running the presentation, but you can have any number of mobile devices (iOS and Android) controlling the presentation in addition to the desktop. In your case, you can have someone at the PC controlling the slides during worship, and you can have a mobile device at the lectern to control the slides during your sermon. You can find more info on the remote here.

Is this still case that 2 windows computers can not control the presentation at the same time?

I believe that is so.
In theory two 'M chipped' Mac computers could but one because the one could run the 'remote app' rather than the program.
We have run our presentations using the remote on both iPhone and iPad. I am suppose that the Android Family have similar capabilities.
