Multiple Lines of Text in Text Field

I can add a custom text field to my slide. I can format the text. But I cannot figure out how to have multiple lines of text in the field. The more I type, the smaller the text gets. What I want it to do is wrap to the next line. Does anyone know how to make this happen?

Custom text fields are intended to be single line only. A service item can only have one multi-line field because the paragraphs in multi-line fields control the slide breaking behavior. If you elaborate on the slide you're trying to create I might be able to provide a workaround.

My goal is to create a slide highlighting the ministry of a missionary family our church supports. It would have two photos, one near the top left, one midway down the slide and at the right side of the page. Next to each photo there would be a text blurb. One might give some details on the family. The other might give some details on the work they do. At the bottom of the slide, I would have another text field that would be a current prayer request from this family. I originally planned to have three multi-line text fields: one for each caption and one for the prayer request.

Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately Proclaim does not support your requirements for this slide very well. I think we'll eventually add support for wrapping custom fields and it's good to hear the feedback. In the meantime my recommendation is to create the slide using a separate graphical editing application, saving as an image, then importing into Proclaim. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for this reply. I've actually been doing this very thing. During certain portions of service in our faith community, we have content in two languages on the same slide. I use the text editor to create text in a particular language and place it on the right half of the slide, leaving the left half open; the same text is created in another language using a different graphical editing application (i.e. PowerPoint) and is saved as a .jpeg. The .jpeg is imported into the Proclaim slide and placed on the left half of the slide.

As it applies to Content slides, Proclaim currently has one text box that can be fully customized. Two would be great. Thanks for reading. [:)]
