The Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture series was one of the 50 best-selling resources of 2014.  I think it would be very appropriate if we were to have access to the corresponding Ancient Christian Doctrine series.

It follows the same basic format as the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture series, but collects statements from the Church Fathers on doctrine using the articles of the Nicene Creed as the basic structuring tool.  Invaluable, in my opinion!

The other Ancient Christian sets would be good as well.

While I like this suggestion, you do realize that this is a very evangelical selection don't you? The primary market would not be Catholic.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I don't know what "very evangelical selection" really means.  I understand that the general editor of the series, Thomas Oden, is a Methodist, but Catholics were involved in the formation of the text (at least one volume has a Catholic editor).  It's really an ecumenical effort.  I put the suggestion here because I use Verbum and, personally, I think the Fathers are Catholic.  I've seen reviews actually somewhat complaining about, essentially, how Catholic the Fathers are (shocking!), as represented in the selections.  I don't know who would be more inclined to purchase it, but I know I would be.

I agree with you that the Church Fathers are Catholic-Eastern Orthodox-Oriental Orthodox.

Perhaps it's worth cross-requesting to drum up more support from people who don't ordinarily read this forum.
