I can't find any recent activity from the Logos team on http://proclaim.uservoice.com.
Is UserVoice not an appropriate way to give feedback?
Faithlife usually updates Uservoice after major releases. It's still the appropriate method of showing your ideas have support.
I agree. It feels like Uservoice has all but been abandoned for Proclaim. Here is an example of a feature that is seemingly in the program, but not updated as you can right click to go on air.
We are using ProPresenter 5 and are considering whether we upgrade to ProPresenter 6 (effectively cutting us as a Proclaim user for the next 3 years).
We have a few issues on Uservoice that are dealbreakers for us:
These ones are not a dealbreaker, but would be a great selling point:
We would probably consider delaying an upgrade to ProPresenter 6 and then switching to Proclaim, but we have no indicator that waiting would result in features we desire being added.
If I appear grumpy, it is because I am. I'm a massive advocate for Logos/Faithlife and see so much potential in Proclaim that is untapped. I would love to dump ProPresenter as I find it clunky, but couldn't get our worship/preaching team to agree unless these dealbreakers were addressed.
Hello Randle,
We've recently made a pass to update the UserVoice page but it looks like we missed some. http://proclaim.uservoice.com/forums/137112-general/suggestions/3129676-change-background-image-without-changing-slide-for and http://proclaim.uservoice.com/forums/137112-general/suggestions/2369817-add-video-controls-and-start-at-and-stop-at-variab have been implemented as well.
Funny you mention http://proclaim.uservoice.com/forums/137112-general/suggestions/2815655-elvanto-integration as I was working on it just this evening Curious, are you an Elvanto user? I don't have a lot of experience with the app myself but have been impressed with the usability while implementing/testing the integration.
Unfortunately I don't have any timelines for the dealbreaker requests you mentioned at the top but your feedback is appreciated.
Hi Scott,
Thank you for the reply. We love using Elvanto. It is very easy to use, integrate into existing websites and functional. When I compared it to some of the big names it ticked all the boxes at a better price. The thing that sealed the deal for us was that it supported Australian data collection and the responsiveness of developers. They are due to release a beta of a new design shortly.
As far as proclaim - looks like I will have to remain a frustrated ProPresenter user for a little while longer [:(]
