blank slides in songs

When we use a vocal or instrumental solo in the middle of a song, I create a [blank] in the lyrics text box and then insert "blank" (no quotation marks) in the song structure field. i.e, Verse 1, Chorus, blank, Chorus, Verse 3, Chorus... I noticed that a request for blank was completed on April 17 on the Uservoice Forum but can't find the documentation for using it. I'm missing something; can you fill in the blank for me???

Only use the first letter in the word, we use [Instrumental] and in the slide order I only put v1,c1,v2,i,etc...

You can use a blank slide as you are currently, or you can use the 'no text' quickscreen to make any slide blank.

In the screenshot below, the green arrow is the slide made using 'blank' in the verse order and the red arrow is the 'No Text' quickscreen that will clear the slide.

I'm not sure why this was marked as resolved. Using an empty custom verse label ([blank]) is the recommended workaround. However... we're about to ship some improvements to the custom verse order sequence UI which includes type ahead label suggestions based the available verses. This means we could always include a "Blank" suggestion which you could use to insert a blank slide without actually having to edit your lyrics to include a Blank verse. This probably won't make it in the version we plan to ship next week but could come soon after.
