Song Sequencing

I am still learning here- and may have been doing this wrong, but here goes. When adding songs, (up until this last update) I have been able to go in and sequence the song the way our team sings it (V1, Chorus 1, Bridge, etc). I have just installed the latest update, and the information box has been changed. I clicked the custom order for verse box, but it only allows me to add 4 boxes. The song I am working on should be V1, C1, V2, C1, V2, C1, Bridge, Bridge, V3 C1 C1- but I can only get the first 4 in- what am I doing wrrong?

Sorry for the inconvenience. The lack of scrolling was a bug. We just shipped a fix for this. Please try updating and you should be able to accomplish the scenario you described.

Definitely NOT a fan of the new song sequencing.

My heart is writhing in pain with this recent change.

I use to rave about the simplicity of Proclaim, but now I cannot even see the whole song format without having to scroll because the parts of the song are all in big boxes! This makes it more difficult to train volunteers... the simpler the better.. and the old way was so simple and so wonderful.

So Very disappointed. One of the worst changes that could have been made for us.

Can you not Abbreviate "Verse 1 to V1" and "Chorus 1 to C1", "Bridge 1 to B1"?

Or make an option to close the preview window in edit mode so we can see the whole format?

When I "Reuse an Item" the main difference in reused versions of songs was the sequence and now it is such a challenge to find the version with the sequence I want to use.

I'm sorry for the continued comments but I cannot express enough how unproductive the new sequencing system is for users.

Whatever you guys decide is best and we'll learn to live with it. I'm just not sure why the drag and drop function was considered so important at the Data Entry level.

It's like when you fill out an address form that uses "convenient" drop-down boxes and you get to the Country and the United States is at the bottom of the list because it's in alphabetical order, when all you want to do is type USA.

(Maybe if the text can just be abbreviated to make the boxes smaller and have them wrap onto the next row.)
