Confused: Vyrso and Logos

So I thought Vyrso was a reader app that allowed me to see my Logos ebooks. But evidently not, as I cannot see many of my logos books in Vyrso, or vice-versa. (vyrsa - sorry).

Can some one help me clarify?

This could be caused by a filter (anything you have in the search box for the library in the app). I think there is also a setting in the Vyrso app which can filter to show only Vyrso books. Check if this is accidentically turned on.

That's a good start, NB.Mick. The app was checked for Vyrso only resources. However, the book I wanted to open up there, still can't be found. I am signing in with the same login on all resources. I am also using the Beta of both apps and wonder if that has anything to do with it...

The beta should not affect your library. If it does, it is a bug and needs to be reported. If you don't mind, what is the name of the book? This is a way for others to see if they are having the same problem.

Mick is right... the Vyrso app has a setting, which is now turned on by default, which shows ONLY Vyrso titles. You can turn this off. I don't have the Vyrso app installed currently, but from the home screen it should be under "more" and "settings."

Are you sure the book is mobile enabled? What is it?

Well, I'm only reading the book via mobile app - I have the beta on my iphone and ipad. I can pull up the book "Islam and America: Answers to the 31 Most-Asked Questions" in the Vyrso app, but no on Logos. (update - just doubled checked and this one is now showing up in Logos - so cancel this one)

I can pull up the book "Answering Islam: The Crescent in Light of the Cross" only in the Logos app, but not in the Vyrso app.

I did just purchase the "Islam and America: Answers to the 31 Most-Asked Questions" - is there a delay? I mean, it showed up almost immediately in Vyrso. I assumed it would in Logos also.

Also - I did uncheck the Vyrso only tab....

Have you tried killing the app? Restarting the device? Using the command "rebuild index"? If none of those work, try deleting and reinstalling the app.

hm. I found that I own it (Norman Geisler apologetics collection) and after unchecking the Vyrso-only setting could see it in the library and open it - fresh install of the latest stable version of Vyrso app on Android. Don't think that the iOS beta should change something - but maybe crossposting in the iOS beta forum gets a Faithlife employee checking it out.

I have the Vyrso app installed but I didn't realize that it was set by default to show only Vyrso resources. To me that doesn't make sense but it is good to know.
