Here is the log file someone asked about:
7607.Proclaim.log
When I try to import a PP I cannot do it seamlessly.
I have to a) change it to PP2007-2014 or save it as a jpeg.
Thanks
Judd
Hello Judd,
The PowerPoint import process is logged to a separate file in the same directory named PowerPointExporter.log Please post this file after a failed import and we can take a closer look.
0763.PowerPointExporter.log
The log you attached indicates the export succeeded. Was this the PowerPoint file that failed to be exported?
File: /Users/JuddsMacBookAir1/Desktop/Quest for Holiness PPT2.ppt
Result: Export completed successfully (21 slides exported)
This log file is overwritten each time you export a PowerPoint file. If this isn't the PowerPoint file that failed to export then launch Proclaim again and try to export the PowerPoint file that is giving you issues - then send the log after that. If you can also attach the PowerPoint file itself we can take a look at it.
file:///Users/JuddsMacBookAir1/Desktop/Quest%20for%20Holiness%20PPT.pptx
Hi Judd, to attach a file to a forum post, click the paper clip icon (as shown below) and use the above filepath.
Thanks for pointing this out Judd. I will investigate this bug and hopefully eliminate it in future versions.
0511.PowerPointExporter.logI tried this today at church with the latest version and I was not able to import either a powerpoint or keynote file. It gave me an error for both. I just tried it at home with my MAC (latest update) and did not work either. Attached is a screenshot of the error and the log file
Could you share the PowerPoint presentation that you're trying to import? I'd like to try to reproduce the error.
This is the one I tried at home to get you the log (just one I had on my computer) I tried a different one at church but do not have it with me here but got the same result. I also tried a keynote presentation at work and got the same error.
I don't know if the file attached or not...I do not see it attached to my reply..I tried several times. Is there an indication of an attached file?
It doesn't look like it's attaching. Perhaps try uploading to a Dropbox or Google Drive account if you have one?
Try these links. One if for the PPT and one is for the log in case you did not get that either:

Got it! We'll take a look. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing, I was able to import all 75 slides, your log seems to just stop at 64.
Your image shows the crash dialog from Apple crashes and the "Report" button will show you a crash report. Apple saves these to your hard drive.
Please check for a .crash or .diag file that you can post, I would like to look at that. These are located at: ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
Look for Proclaim_[date_numbers_computername].crash (or.diag, or both) from the date that you crashed. The Prolcaim log has timestamps from today (2015-08-03 02:35:35.1781 1 Info PowerPointExporter Exporting slide 3a74aef08b64487a8ea96d6e9512ef38_aada772ba8af43c7b00368ae554c8a80_64.jpg)
If you cannot find the .crash or .diag files, try to reproduce and if you are able to reproduce, click the "report" button from the Apple crash dialog and copy/paste into a new document you can send.

Are you running a MAC? I have tried two different MACs and two different PPT files and got the same result. Here is a link to the Diag report
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0EHjXrpS-2zS2JKdjdqNVdFaUE/view?usp=sharing
On both computers, no images were imported. It just gave me the error that it could not be imported. I also had the same result on the church MAC with a keynote file.
Here is a link to the DiagReport:
Yes, I'm testing on my Mac, but am still on 10.9.
I'll see that you are on 10.10.4 and will test that when I'm back in the office tomorrow. The diagnostic seems to indicate crashing as it is trying to free a font. Your previous logs exported the first 64 slides. I don't see anything different with the 65th slide.
Have you been able to import any PPT files? I'm curious if you are able to successfully import smaller presentations. For instance, are you able to split this PPT into two and import each? Also, what processor and how much memory does your Mac have? (Click the Apple icon on the menu and choose "About this Mac"
Also, as a work around, you can use Powerpoint itself to export each slide as an image into a folder (choose the "Save as Pictures..." menu in Mac Powerpoint), then upload those into an Imageslide show service item. That is all our import does. We utilize a third party library to open the PPT and save each slide as an image into a temp folder, then once done, import all images into an Imageslide show service item. If there is a problem, no images are imported. Upon success or failure, any 'saved' temporary powerpoint slides are deleted.
That is what I did Sunday. The ppt and keynote I tried on the church mac was only like 20 slides and both failed.
My mac at home is a beast of a machine so processor and memory are not an issue.
Very surprising that Keynote did not import, we have a pretty simple AppleScript that opens Keynote and 'clicks' the "Export To-> Images" menu item. We don't have as extensive of logging with Keynote, but some messages are sent to the console.
If you could import your keynote again with the console app running, please copy/paste any 'Proclaim' messages (you can filter the console logs by typing proclaim into the search area at the top right of the console app).
