No synch on Android Bible App during Bible Study Last Night
Hi
Last night at Bible Study 8/4/15 I plugged in my Samsung Note 3 Phone, turned on the wifi sharing "tethering", turned on my Android Samsung Galaxy S Tablet. The phone was maybe 4 ft away from the Tablet at the most.
I was stunned by the really awful results of the Logos Android Bible App to do this simple task:
Synch NKJV and one other Bible commentary together on Acts 7.
That's it....can you believe it?
Worse, the Bible Book, Chapter, Verse, was absent yet again. It simply did not work. Oddly when I tried to select a verse having to type it in - a portion of the Verse picker - not the whole thing, just a portion briefly showed up.
It was so frustrating to try and get a Bible version to synch up with another commentary that I finally gave up. This is something I used to be able to do easily without incident.
I could click on the button that gave me a panel that said that synch was on and working...it just simply would not work!
I have repeatedly given Logos permission to track my lack of progress on Tuesday nights at 6 pm in Rhode Island with the app as a realworld user but I guess they are not paying attention or are unable to.
It has worked in the past - swell - actually. When I bring my Surface Pro 3 (original) things work ok.
Why o why is the android application so utterly unresponsive (I am being self controlled and kind here!).

Could it be a system issue or a network issue with Logos itself.

Sorry to hear of your most recent issue

The app can handle the usage you describe in offline mode - any particularly reason you went "online"?

Hmm...count me stunned. I will try to download some of the commentaries I use most and the Bibles on to my device and experiment.
I thought I had to go live....thanks Graham.

Downloaded Bibles and Commentaries should sync fine when offline
If you want to go beyond that and do Word Lookups, run Bible Word Study or Passage Guides (for example) you need to be online.
