Logos 5 shortcut can not find files "moved or changed" and I can not find them in Programs.

When I click on the Logos 5 icon I get a message that it can not find logos.exe. I looked in Programs and it is missing there, also. I did a search and found a file about it crashing, but could not get any information about it. This is on my laptop. Logos 5 on my PC is still working. Both have XP.

Did you move the files by hand? Logos 5 will be in your User directory, not in Programs. It may well be that the path it's installed in still is named Logos4.
EDIT: since you know how to edit your post (just saw the new part about XP), may I suggest you take out your mail address to prevent spam-bots harvesting it?

I tried to download the free 6 engine and it wouldn't work. Looked further at the blogs and found a user went to add/remove programs and clicked repair. I tried that and it worked. My Logos5 in add/remove showed I installed it on 7/15/2015, which I did not do. Wondering if it was a problem with an update?? I am now going to try to download the 6 engine.

Logos 6 will not work on Windows XP. You need Win 7 or later.

As far as I know, Logos 5 will not work on XP, either (requiring Vista SP2 as per the installation page).

That is correct. Logos 4.6c was the last version that supported Windows XP.
