Uploading MP4 Video

When I try an upload a MP4 video directly into Proclaim, it will not play.
I have to first upload the video to YouTuble and download it, then upload to Proclaim (wow it works).
Is there something I missing. I do not want to always have to upload my videos to Proclaim.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It will help us diagnose the issue further if you could create a presentation named something like "For Proclaim Tester" and add a single video that reproduces the issue you describe. When it's ready we'll take a look and get back to you with our findings.

Thanks for your reply. I have created the presentation as requested.

Eric, I am able to play the video in your presentation without a problem. When you try to view that particular video in Proclaim are you able to see anything at all (the video preview, the first few seconds, etc.) or is it just completely black?

I am sorry maybe I didn't explain. The video plays, but there is no sound.
That video has an accompaniment track along with the words

Eric, I have the same audio issue that you do when I upload the video. When I play it through Windows Media Player (which Proclaim uses) there is no sound either. This indicates that there may be an issue with the original file. From where did you get the video? And is there a way you can download it in a different format?
To be clear, there is audio associated with the file, but the way that Windows Media Player (and thus Proclaim) is reading the file it isn't recognizing that it includes audio. If you provide me with the original source I can do more investigation.

I make the video in Youtube Video Maker.
Let's be clear, when I convert in and download on my computer and then upload to proclaim, the audio does not play in Proclaim.
When I convert and upload directly to YouTuble and then download to my computer and then upload to Proclaim, the audio does play.
When I convert and download to my computer and then manually upload to YouTuble, download to my computer, upload to Proclaim, the audio plays.
So I guessing YouTube is converting the sound upon upload and download to play in Proclaim.

Hi, Eric. It seems however the file is being encoded upon creation is not being recognized by WMP as a video with audio. I resolved the problem by downloading the WMP codec pack located here, rebooting, and playing the video through Proclaim.
Let me know if this resolves your problem.
