How can I limit, or edit, the order of the Bible versions displayed by default in Proclaim? See the image below for details.
For example, I would like the order of the versions to be: NKJV, HCMS, ESV, NIV
How do I do this?

Do you also use Logos desktop software?
If so, you can prioritise Bibles in there - see https://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing for details - and this should affect the order you see in Proclaim as well.
I am not aware of anyway to do it directly in Proclaim
Another way is to go to Biblia.com
You need to sign in with the same account that you use for Proclaim. Then you can click the Library button on the left. You should see a column of your bibles. Each bible should have a circle next to it if you hover your mouse over it. Clicking the circle will make that bible move to the top of your prioritized list. So in your case, you would need to click NIV, ESV, HCMS, NKJV (backwards order)
I attached a screen shot with arrows to the important parts.
Thanks for the info.
I do not have a Logos account associated with the Proclaim login. I also tried prioritizing the list of Bibles in Biblia. This works and it is sorting the list of Bibles in Biblia per the prioritization I set. However, this is not affecting the list of Bibles in Proclaim.
I made sure to log into Proclaim and Biblia with the same account.
Is there another step I need to do?
Thanks,
Anthony
Looks like I had to restart Proclaim and re-add the bible item to get the new order to populate.
Jordan,
I appreciate the info, but I am not able to get it to work. I have closed Proclaim, opened Biblia.com and prioritized the Bibles. I leave "Priority" as the sort option and close Biblia. When I open Proclaim (same login info as Biblia), and create a new schedule and add a new Bible item, it still sorts the Bibles alphabetically.
I just tried the same thing to prioritize the versions and it is not working. There should be an easier way to do this.
Sorry Michael. I think the reason it worked for me is that I have a Logos Basepackage associated with my account. His definitely should be easier to do. I'll talk to the rest of the team to see if there are some easy wins for us here.

I don't know about changing the order, but you can change the default version by going to general settings and then Quick screen. All the way at the bottom of the quick screens you can change the default.
Was a simple fix for this ever identified?
Actually it might help to understand...
Proclaim licensee – How does their Logos prioritisation affect Proclaim?
Proclaim Group member with Logos – How does their Logos prioritisation affect Proclaim?
Proclaim Group member without Logos – What controls the Bible list in Proclaim?
Church Body as Proclaim licensee – how do the various Group Member's Logos Packages integrate with Proclaim?
I don't know the answer and have never understood the various explanations provided in response to similar threads.
Users that own a Logos base package will see Bibles ordered by resource priority, as set in Logos Bible Software.
Currently all Bible licensing is per user. Having a base package owner in your group doesn't change anything for other members of the group.
If you are not a base package owner (you don't have resource priorities) we order Bibles by the last used (in Proclaim) date. The hope is for Bibles that you use frequently to stay in the list of quickly accessible Bible versions. This change is relatively recent, within the last year.
Thanks for the explanation Scott.
It would therefore be good policy for Licensees to recommend that group member install, at a minimum, the Logos Basic Package, and then set their own Bible preferences.
