Hi
I have downloaded the latest update (Mac version). Now when I get to the sign in screen the "signing in" disappears but the program does not open.
Log file attached.183332.Proclaim.log
Thanks
Looks like Proclaim is having trouble with a file Proclaim uses to hold your sign in information. Please delete the following file and try to restart Proclaim. Worth mentioning that this will cause all your presentations to sync back down again.
/Users/JAC/Library/Application Support/Proclaim/Users/UserManager.db
If you're having trouble finding that path you can try the CMD+Shift+G shortcut in Finder and enter the path directly
I have deleted the file but still getting the same problem when I try to reopen.
Now that you've deleted the corrupted file it would be helpful for us to see an updated Proclaim.log file. This is regenerated each time you try to run.
There are also files called ProclaimCrash.txt and ProclaimError.log if they are of any help?
Sorry - I think it is the correct attachment now
16367.Proclaim.log
Thanks for the log. Another file that would help us fix this issue would be the Apple Diagnostic report. If it exists, it would be at: /Users/JAC/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/
The names are a little funky, but look for the most recent one that starts with Proclaim.
Also, ProclaimCrash.txt and ProclaimError.log would be helpful as well.

35411.ProclaimCrash.txt
There isn't a diagnostic report that starts with Proclaim - or one dated recently.
Thanks Richard. Those gave me more information. I'm looking into it now.
Hi Richard, I just sent you an email with some more information based on what you sent me.
Ok so Richard isn't the only one having this problem. I have a Mac as well and the same thing is happening once I accepted the update. I used my wives computer with the previous version and it is fine. I need to get this fixed.
Hello Eli, I believe Richard's issue was related to file permissions. If you could add your Proclailm.log file to this thread I can diagnose further.

Did you follow the steps in the support article? Specifically for finding log files on Mac
On Mac log files are created in the user's Application Support folder at the following path
Scott this Mac that folder isn't there. On my other one that hasn't been updated to the new proclaim version it is
Hey Eli, you are in the wrong Library. You are in /Library when you need to be in ~/Library
Note the '~', that is the part that points to your user's home folder, not the root for the whole filesystem
2251.Proclaim.log
74862.ProclaimCrash.txt
4810.ProclaimError.log
Looks like there is a file on your computer that has incorrect permissions. This is causing Proclaim to crash when it tries to store your login credentials.
To fix this issue, you will need to:
Open Terminal on your mac. Terminal is an application and can be easily opened via Spotlight. To open Spotlight, hit command+space on your keyboard. Now type Terminal in the Spotlight search bar, and hit enter to open Terminal.
Paste the following into Terminal without the single quotes: ‘cd ~/.config/.mono/; chmod 700 keypairs’
The above command will change the permissions on the folder, so that Proclaim can successfully store your credentials. Now you can relaunch Proclaim, type in your username and password, and you should see Proclaim begin to sync your content.
Jordan I posted the files
Jordan, Ive posted the files
Thanks Scott this fixed it
