It is nice to see the Companion to the Catechism under development.  Will the shorter compendium to the catechism also be coming to Verbum?

[Y] I'd love to see this as well.  I'd also like to see the US Catholic Catechism for Adults. Both have loads of cross references to the Catechism and would work great in Verbum.

I don't think the resource here is the same one, but it is similar.  It is in this pre-pub product.  https://verbum.com/products/52303/companion-to-the-catechism-collection

And just FYI, its not exactly under development yet. It still needs the necessary support to go into development.

So get all you're friends in on it!

Thanks for the replies - the Companion to the Catechism isn't the same resource at all - while it will be a valuable edition to Verbum (I already have it on preorder), it is largely the collection of reference documents from the Catechism.

The Compendium was published by the USCCB and it is almost like a newer Baltimore Catechism - it basically put the main concepts of the Catechism in a Question and Answer Format.

Both valuable, but very different, resources [:)]

Also, the Compendium was written by Benedict XVI - definitely a pretty awesome resource :)
