Vyrso Daily Deals Bundles
I know that this was discussed in the forum MANY months back, but without dynamic pricing capabilities integrated into the Vyrso bundles, is there any option to get pricing consideration for books already owned?
In today's deal, for example, I'm very interested in "What If God Wrote Your Bucket List" and "The Fifth Gospel," semi-interested in "Doubting Toward Faith," but already own "Crave." Yes, 4 bucks each for the books I don't already own is still a pretty good deal, but what if the next bundle includes two or three books I've previously purchased?
Just curious and like to take advantage of these deals, so I thought I'd ask. (I've also been away for the forum for several months, so if this query has already been addressed here recently, I welcome a link to it.)
Thanks! Keep up the great work Team Vyrso.

Yes this has been discussed often and I share your concerns. I wish there was a way to have some sort of dynamic pricing on bundles. I'm sure that Faithlife has lost quite a few sales because this feature doesn't exist.

Absolutely! I'm very frustrated that not only are we not getting dynamic pricing, but we don't even have an easy way to see what we already own. We have to look-up each title in our library; that's a pain when the system "could" probably tell you very easily.

Hi everyone,
At this time, Vyrso is unable to host the same dynamic-pricing model as Logos. This has to do with contracts/agreements with our publishers—they can't support this model with Vyrso.com because, in most cases, they have other agreements (ex. with Amazon) that would cause conflicts with ebook pricing. For example, in most cases, a larger ebook distributor and a publisher have contractual agreements to sell their ebooks at a set price, and that price has to be the same everywhere. While there are exceptions to this with specific publishers and promotions, you can see why dynamic pricing would cause conflict here, as most ebook distributors do not have dynamic pricing.
Thank you all for your patience.

Thanks for the reply and explanation.
Respectfully, the problem I'm still having with that logic (as someone who buys A LOT of ebooks in Logos/Vyrso AND Kindle formats) is that yesterday, when those four books were on sale via Vyrso, neither of the two I was most interested in were on sale in Kindle format via Amazon, as is often the case. (Both were still selling for almost $10 each on Nov 2.) I assume that somehow Vyrso got permission from the publisher to sell those four books at a reduced price each combined into a bundle price, which is great and appreciated. (If that assumption is incorrect, I welcome clarification.) I would just think that the individual book prices could still be honored in a smaller "dynamic" bundle, at least theoretically, via a salesperson if the greater challenge you mentioned is a deterrent to automate the process.
For what it's worth. At the end of the day it's not really about patience (as we aren't really waiting for things to change) or even understanding, but acceptance. I accept that it probably isn't going to happen and that it's a business decision by Faithlife, so I will continue to spend my money on Logos/Vyrso resources when it make financial sense, elsewhere when it doesn't.
