Latest update behaves as PowerPC application??

I just downloaded the latest update and now my mac won't open the application because my computer thinks it's a PowerPC application!!!

HELP!!! What's gone wrong. We have a church service tomorrow!!

Hello Russell, could you please paste in the specific error message you're seeing or attach a screenshot? I've not heard of this before so I'm really at a loss here.

The proclaim application icon had a big white circle with a line through it and it was a standard Mac OS error. But I should have tried turning it off and on again. That stopped it.
