Ho do I step through a resource from heading to heading or in a bible from pericope to pericope? There just seems to be a function to scroll down with either arrow keys or mouse, but no stepping function
I take it you are refering to the next article option avaialbe in logos 3.0. I have not found this yet either and hope its there and I have missed it or its yet to be implemented, but will be during the beta phase

Yes that is the function I am referring to. I use it always to get an overview of an article or whatever before actually reading in detail. It will be sorely missed if it is not included.

Mu guess is that the best way to do this in 4.0 is to click through the table of contents. Its displayable by clicking the double arrows under the table icon...
Yes that is the function I am referring to. I use it always to get an overview of an article or whatever before actually reading in detail. It will be sorely missed if it is not included.

Hi Philip,
That is the same as reading the table of contents in a book. With the function in version 3 I could get a quick glance at the first paragraph etc and then skip to the next section. Your suggestion will also not work with pericope heading either.

The Page Up and Page Down keys are currently the closest method to the up and down arrows of LDLS 3. (You can also right click on the scrollbar for those and other scrolling options.) That does not always go directly to the next article or pericope, though. I will report your request.

So far I am only able to comment regarding the Meltho Fonts User Guide since I don't see any other resources in the library (I'm still in the process of updating). I miss the ability to page through a resource using the space bar. That is much simpler than using the <pg dn> key or the scroll bar or anything else. Another thing I note is that, while 3.0 had its own mind regarding where to place resources, it was possible to change their location. 4.0 seems to be tyrranical in this regard. It will be where the program decides to place it. I always used to open a note file first then a resource then I would enter <W-T> and the resource would end up in the left pane of a 2 pane layout with the notes on the right. The 3.0 layout and this one as well must have been designed by a sinister person (left-handed) since only a leftie would put the notes on the left rather than the right. The problem is that 4.0 seems dictatorial.

Hi George ~ Have you tried using the Layouts function to organize the panels, dragging panels to specific hotspots on the screen, and saving a particular layout? You can drag the notes panel to the right side (click on the tab to drag and place the panel). You can drag a panel tab to a new tab on another panel. You can float a panel to open it in its own window, which can than be moved to a second monitor, if you have one. Logos 4 is much more flexible than Libronix 3. ~ Melissa

I love the way the blue section appears to show what the current window will look like with the selected hotspot. I would love to see the hotspots "light up" when dragging. e.g. place an orange circle, fading to the edges to about 1 inch out from all current hotspot centers. Then we would better know what our options are.

Thanks ! That does it (The tab was what I missed since I was accustomed to a title bar. Now if there were only keyboard shortcuts for doing this. I really dislike having to drag things around.

This is good, but in a Bible it goes chapter to chapter not section to section - at least those set by the editors - which was how it worked in L3

I believe - like in 3.x - each resource has its own strengths due to the tagging done. Thus, in the NKJV you can toggle through the pericopes using the ALT + arrow up/down, but you can't in the NASB. Like you, I think it would be nice if all the resources had a similar functionality (a nice - easy to remember/use - standard).
