No, public domain works are those which are no longer owned by anyone - no copyright applies and no royalties are due for using them

I guess I was trying to go down the path, that if a person had a public domain book and turned it into a personal book I don't think it would count in terms of dynamic pricing, which would explain the OP concern/question.
If they are not personal books but purchased through FaithLife then I understand the concern.
... it was the "public domain" part that lead me to ask the question.

It does make sense.
In this case, the volumes I own are not PB's and the Logos.com website recognizes that I own those volumes. I noted that they're public domain because that means that there's no contract present that might prohibit Dynamic Pricing.
