Over the weekend (Last weekend, November 14-15, 2015) we attempted to edit and preview our Sunday presentation and all the refresh/sync functions were unbelievably slow.
I am the pastor, and as I was loading my sermon into a "Content" slide stream it would take about 20 seconds to a minute whenever I made any change at all (adding a period, underlining, adding a slide separation, etc.). That was Saturday night. It normally takes me about 15-20 minutes to complete my sermon slides. It took 2.5 hours.
On Sunday morning, our worship leader attempted to add our song slides and it was the same. Refresh/sync for any and every edit took a full minute or more. And, the "On Air" screen performance once things were all updated was super-sluggish, such that we ended up going back to EasyWorship (in an emergency right before the start of our first service)! It put a lot of unnecessary stress on all of us.
All systems are Windows 10 with 8GB of RAM, lots of video RAM. My notebook has an i5 processor. The Sanctuary has an i7. We had note had any problems before. No recent changes. Verizon FIOS Ultimate for internet at multiple locations. Nothing else Internet related had any performance issues.
We really like the cloud-based collaboration, but this was really a set back for us. Help!
