This is the 100,000th Forum Thread!

Just moments ago: [quote]Forum Activity: 184,264 users have contributed to 99,999 threads and 761,515 posts.
For a few days we've been watching the ticker on the forum Home page creep closer to 100,000 for total posts.
So we are either right there, or shortly after.
Congratulations you talkative er... typeative guys and gals, we broke another threshold.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Well, I can't say that this one is the most important of these first 100,000 threads. [*-)]
But [<:o)] just the same.
This is more than just a place to get answers. It serves as a community as well.

I am thankful of the forum, without it my understanding of Logos would be lacking.
I also thank Logos/Faithlife for all that they do for us.
Another blessing of the forum is that each of us can get to know one another before we go on to be with the Lord.

One of the best reasons for Logos is this forum. There's too much for anyone to keep up with in Logos on their own.

For the record, here is the oldest forum thread that has not been deleted:

And the true 100,000th thread does no longer exist:

That's actually quite funny, seeing so many people said they preferred Newsgroups. I bet none would want to go back now!
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Just wait how people will start rambling when it comes to replacing the forum software with something modern and web 3.0 style!

That is worth a "wow" but, when I think of it, the number isn't that surprising considering the spam attacks we've had.

It's interesting to me how many of those people involved in the first thread have continued posting and are actively involved, and how many pretty much haven't posted since then.

I too have appreciated the Forums over the years. But these Forums accomplish a greater purpose. Far beyond just helping people to navigate the program and answer various questions, they have served to draw us deeper into the Word of God and thereby have changed our life for all eternity. They have served to make us better servants and ministers of the Word to a hurting world who desperately needs a Savior! Praise God for His Word and a wonderful vehicle Logos has been in each one of our lives!
