Verse order feature suggestion

Would like yo see a feature where if during the live worship service the worship leader adds a verse that was not previously in the order it could be added or gone to quickly. I know you have it where I can jump to a verse by pressing the verse number key but if the verse is not previously in the order this feature does not work. The edit feature takes too long. It might help if when the verse order shows

Verse 1, Verse 3 etc

that the hot key '2' might pick out verse 2 and show it overriding the stated order

If the song's verse order is 1,2,3 but the song has 4 verses and the worship leader decides to sing verse 4 maybe the hot key feature could be used to jump to verse 4. Just need a way to quickly jump to a verse that is in the song but not in the sequence.

Herb, if I understand correctly what you're asking, I believe Proclaim is already capable of doing this using the custom verse box.

In the picture above, I've created a song with three verses and a chorus. By checking the custom verse order box, I can choose which parts of this song I want to appear on the slides that are generated (even when you're on air). In the example above, I'm only choosing to display the first two verses and the chorus. If, during the service, the pastor wanted the third verse to be shown, I could add a "3" between the 2 and the Chorus in the list and it will be reflected immediately.

If I understand what you are saying, by doing that I would have to go into 'edit' which would take too long. I'm talking about doing it 'on-the-fly'. Say we were doing a song with verses 1,c,2,c in the sequence and when we got to the end of the second chorus the worship leader wants to go straight into verse 3 there would not be enough time to jump into 'edit', add verse 3, and get it on the screen before we were already be singing the verse.

Interesting suggestion. We don't currently have a hotkey setup for songs while on air, but we can certainly look into it. Thanks for the input, Herb.
