Next Slide Ribbon in Preview Mode

When in Preview Mode in Proclaim, did an update remove the next slide ribbon? I found it useful, but noticed a few weeks ago it seemed to disappear. I also can't find an option to open it back up.

Yeah, they took it out in an update on the 11th of Jan. I miss it too.

The timeline (ribbon) only show in the timeline view and the edit view. If you are in grid view you won't see the timeline. When in preview, there is a toggle in the upper left of the preview screen. If I get to my computer I will post a screenshot. Is that what you are wondering? Also, the timeline can be collapsed. You should see a little cheveron arrow in the bottom left to expand/hide the timeline.

Ah, Robert sounds like you are talking about the split-pane we used to show for onAir edits. Ed, is that what you are talking about?

We removed the split pane due to it making the edit view hard to use with such little vertical space. You can still see the current slide and advance the slides using the timeline.

Robert is correct. I am talking about the split plane view in On Air mode. It was useful when doing edits to quickly switch to the next slide. I've found it buggy using the timeline or arrows. I could shrink it down to make editing easier.

We changed the way clicking on the timeline works in a recent update. A single click to the timeline while on air (in edit or preview mode) will move to that slide in the presentation but not move the timeline to preview the next slide thumbnail. Advancing with Left/Right arrows will advance the timeline so you can see a preview of the next slide thumbnail as well as moving forward one slide in the presentation.
