iPad not syncing highlights
Yesterday my iPad app (5.1.10002) stopped syncing highlights. Up until this point it has been fine with the resource I am using (Owen, vol. 2) - but now no highlights are appearing on my desktop, or my iPhone version. I have shut down the iPad app, restarted the iPad itself, double-checked the wifi connection - everything seems to be in proper working order. I have changed no settings on my desktop (and all previous highlights prior to yesterday are there). Have not changed any note settings on the mobile version (not even sure how to do that in the first place). What can I do - I don't want to continue to use this way if the highlights won't transfer. Thanks

Chad, FWIW I had the same issue about a week ago. Tried a number of things to no avail. However the ship righted on its own a little while later (the next day?? can't recall now) and the missing highlights re-appeared on my PC.
I suspected it had something to do with the servers Faithlife uses for this, but have no way to know.
Hopefully you will see your highlights re-appear soon and someone at FL will be able to see if there is some internal bug causing this behavior.

The first step (after doing what you have already done) is to check documents.logos.com to verify that indeed the notes are not syncing.

Looking at the documents site - the last doc update on Feb 6th. How do I make the iPad send it? Also - I have 113 documents - how do I know what one the highlights/emphasis markings will go to? Seems like a massive mess.
On your iPad tap lightly on one of the missing highlights until you get the edit bar, then choose the edit function. When the details of the highlight open scroll down to see the file that highlight was sent to.
You control this. You can create note files to contain your highlights and set the one you want to currently use in the settings menu on your iPad app. On the computer they generally go to the last used note file unless you've chosen differently on the highlight palette menu.
I create a separate highlight notes file for each resource I mark up.

That isn't correct. The default behavior in ALL apps (desktop/mobile) is for the highlight to go into a pallet specific note document. If the behavior you see is different, it is because you changed it at some point.
The answer is in a note document called "emphasis markings" (if that is what your pallet is called) UNLESS you changed the behavior.
It might be good to see if you suffer from "large note document syndrome." Can you pretend to print the note document on your computer and see how many pages it would be?
