Sorry but I can't resist - titles like this bring out the worst in me regardless of how good the book is. Was it a crime scene before Eve bit into the apple? If so, why? [:P]

I wondered if anyone else felt this way. I don't care if a detective did write it, there is no crime in God's work of creation. You wonder who thinks up these titles. Terrible. I bought it, but with a title like that would never have taken a look if hadn't been mentioned here.

I agree with both of you about this but didn't say anything about it because this type of thing is so common. Personally I choose to ignore it but, when I think about it, it is more of a detraction than an attraction.

I consider the author generally worth reading yet even for 99¢ I am put off by this. Mark Smith said it best.
