Verbum 5.1.3
I have restarted both iPad and the APP and Report a Problem under the tells me now "This device is not configured to send email." Even though my iPad sends emails fine. and other apps like BibleReader still sends emails fine.
This has come about because in this version Highlighting has become impossible. You select text and tell it to highlight nothing it happening.. If I select the drag method it appears to highlight but then disappears right after.
My iPad is a 3rd Gen, (model identifier iPad3,3) Running iOS 9.2.1

Can you please attach a screenshot?

I am unable to reproduce this issue.
- How long did you stay online after updating to 5.1.3?
- Is this happening with certain resources or all resources?
- Are the resources downloaded or not?
- Are you currently online?
- Do you have the note documents turned on in the resources where this occurs?
Please see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/118697.aspx for information that helps us track down issues like this.0 -
Also, did you recently update iOS to a new version?
If so, how did you update it (did you make an iTunes backup or not) and did you update our apps before or after the iOS update?0 -

IOS update over the air.... and now I feel like chicken little... I went back to my iPad and both problems seem to be gone. I have no idea why I was having the issues. I was doing everything I could to get things to work for a good half an hour. But it was only when I went back just now my attempted high lights were there.... and then tried to send a report a problem and it appeared to come up normally. I apologize for being a chicken little.. Thank you for your patience. -Dan
I have had, on occasion, highlight notes created but not visibly shown for a period of time, sometimes only until after a shutdown and restart of the app.

The issue could have been that the app hadn't finished Library indexing, note syncing, and other background processes yet and you might not have realized it. It's always helpful to wait a while after an upgrade (especially if you have a lot of downloaded resources, notes, a large Library, etc.).

Dan,
I should also say thanks...! The reason I asked you so many questions is simply that if highlights were not working/syncing it could have been a big deal (as it always is).
We made specific changes in 5.1.3 to fix previous problems with highlight syncing and if there were certain situations where those fixes didn't work I needed to know right away. So don't call yourself a Chicken Little (please).
