Arghhh! Suddenly All my highlights have vanished from iPad/iPhone Apps.
I have just been reading my ESV on Logos for iPad. I have Logos 6 for Mac, latest updates on my iMac and MBP. I also run the app on iPhone and iPad. All the highlights show on my desktop and notebook. While I was reading my ESV on the iPad, they disappeared in front of my eyes. I had been reading and the screen went black. I woke it up using the home button and my highlights where there for about 5 seconds. Then they vanished. I checked my iPhone and they have vanished on that too. They are still there on my desktop and notebook but not my iPad/iPhone. The weird thing is that if I use Fatihlife Study Bible app instead of Logos app, the highlights are shown. The other strange thing is if I go to the tools menu and go to the Highlights menu in the iOS Logos app, all my highlights are listed. They are just not displayed when I read the resource in the app. Please help!

I dont know why Faithlife is not dealing with this bug. It happens many times when highlights disappear, and then after highlighting something else, they reappear. Because of this bug, I dont know how many duplicate highlighting i did.

Hi Kevin, the syncing issue happens to me very often. Sometimes when I open an app, I see highlighting and then after 5 sec it disappears until i try to highlight something. The moment I start highlighting, it appears again. I reported this long time ago, but no changes were made so I gave up on this. It happened to me this morning as well.

It would help to know the following:
- What device are you using?
- What version of the app?
- Is scrolling view turned on or off?
- Does the issue happen with all highlight documents or just some?
- Is the resource downloaded or not?

For clarity: what you describe may be an issue (I had similar problems in beta, but that was in early fall and all was resolved), but (at least as you are describing) isn't a "sync issue." Rather, it is a display issue.

Agreed, but it's odd that the OP noted that his highlights disappeared on two devices which seems to indicate a possible sync issue. It's frustrating when right after asking a couple of questions it's working again...
