Notes in Mobile Apps (Logos Bible, Vyrso, Faithlife Study Bible)

Hello -

Recently I have been using the Faithlife app on my iPad to prepare for a Men's Bible Study I lead on Monday mornings, highlighting words or phrases, and inserting my teaching materials in the form of Notes attached to these highlights.

This morning I opened the Faithlife app and could not find any of the notes I have created during the past several months.  After spending a considerable amount of time looking for them, checking settings, etc., I gave up and began creating a new set of notes.

This brings me to my question: Where do the Notes I create on my iPad live?  Are they synced online ("in the cloud," as it were)?  Are they files on my iPad?  Or both?  But more importantly, is there some way I can find (or recover) the Notes I have created during the past several months?  Is there a "setting" in the app (or on my iPad) that may have been "tripped," hiding my old notes somehow?

Thanks in advance for your help and counsel.

They are synced via the cloud (Faithlife servers) which enables them to be shared between different platforms you may be using to access Logos resources.

They should be available on your iPad even when disconnected from the Internet (so downloaded into the app)

The first thing to check is whether the notes are still there.

Try opening the Documents menu and looking for the Notes documents you were using. You can open them from there and see if the Notes are present.

The other thing to check is whether the specific Notes documents have been "switched off" in the resource (I expect this is what has happened).

Click the Aa icon in the resource, tap the "Notes" section under "This resource" and see if the Notes documents are enabled

If any of this doesn't make sense please post back and I'll add some screenshots

I have a similar question. I'm using the Faithlife Study Bible Android app, and I have highlighted many passages and created some notes. When I use the web version on my laptop (signed in), none of the highlights, bookmarks, or notes are present. I feel like I'm overlooking something simple, but I don't know what it is.

Please repost this to the Android forum at https://community.logos.com/forums/96.aspx . This forum is about the Faithlife Study Bible resource, not the Faithlife Study Bible mobile app that runs on Android.
