Sermon Audio Recording Speed

Hi, we seem to have an issue when recording audio. Most times we we playback the audio it is playing too quickly and sounds like the chipmunks. Has anyone else experienced this?

We are using a macbook pro with an m-audio USB interface to record.

Thanks

Welcome to the forums, Dwayne. Could you please direct me to a presentation that has one of these faulty recordings? Browsing through your past recordings, I'm not seeing any that seem to be sped up in any way.

Do the recordings play correctly outside of Proclaim? You can find directions to the files in step two of this article.

    Hi Peter,

I think that we have only had 2 successful recordings. Good Friday worked great for us. And yesterday April 10, we successfully recorded, however when I play back through the Proclaim app or download the raw file - both are playing back too quickly. When I throw the raw file into audacity and set the playback speed to 93% the audio sounds to be the proper speed. We are having some quality issues, but that's on our end. Just trying to determine why our playback is so quick.

    Thanks.

    Hi Dwayne,

If you go to Settings->Audio and try to record a sample, does that speed your audio up? That is using the same recorder that is used during the service, so it should Produce the same bug.

Also, just to verify, are you on 10.11?

    Thanks,

    Jordan
