Highlights in iPad are not appearing on iPhone or Logos App
I have been making highlights to my readings on my iPad.
Emphasis markups are appearing just fine between devices.
However, my most common annotations -- highlighter pens -- do not transfer from the iPad onto either the iPhone or my Logos application (Mac; version 6.10.0.0041).
I must have something setup incorrectly on the iPad that it's not transferring over the highlights.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
best,
Dale

It's set to Palette-specific note Document.
I notice that there are about 25 choices under "notes", including "highlighter Pens". Not sure what the right setting is.
Thanks.

It's set to Palette-specific note Document.
So that means that the highlights are being stored in a notes document called "highlighter pens"
on your computer please check that document is enabled in the Notes section of the visual filter menu (click three interlocking circles) of the resource you are highlighting.
And check for the same on your iPhone. Click the Aa icon at the top of the resource and open the Notes section.
There are different ideas about the "best setting". Personally I prefer "resource specific" which puts all highlights for a particular resource in a separate notes document but let's try and work out why you aren't seeing them as synced first

I do have that enabled on my computer.
But I may have confused you with what I wrote last time. On my iPad, I have Palette-specific Note Document selected under "Document for Highlights". I meant to say that I did see Emphasis Markup and Highlighter Pens available. But those are not selected.
If shifting to "Resource-specific Note Document" makes sense, that would be fine with me.
Thanks again for your help.

No - that makes sense.
With "Palette-specific" selected the Notes document used matches the name of the palette - so "Highlighter Pens" for example
Please go to documents.logos.com in a browser and log in using the same credentials you use on iPad and Mac. This will show you all your documents including the Notes document "Highlighter Pens". Double-clicking on that will show the highlights it contains. Please check if highlights you are making on your iPad are appearing there or not - this will help show where the sync problem lies.

It might address it - particularly if you have a lot of highlights in your existing files - but it would still end up with the highlights you have made not being synced.
If you wish to try it simply select "resource-specific" as the option on your iPad and create a highlight. This should create a new Notes document of the same name as your resource and highlights should be placed in that and sync to your Mac & iPhone.
(Note that this setting on the iPad / iPhone is at the app level - on the Mac it is at palette level)
And interesting to see that there are two "Highlighter Pens" type documents on your Mac - that might indicate a problem somewhere but let's see where the steps above take us,

There have been issues with this in the past but it was suppose to have been fixed in the latest releases... I believe you can force a sync on your iOS device by forcing the app to quit (double click home button push up the faithlife app (vyrso/bible/Verbum/Faithlife Bible)) and open it up again. This should cause the mobile app to sync if i understand things right.

Dan,
Thanks for the idea. I did try that. And I also did a complete reboot of the iPad. The highlights are still not synching with my Mac.

In addition to alabama24's questions, do you have a firewall somewhere in the network you are using?

I have the standard Mac OS X firewall enabled.
I checked, and Logos desktop app was not enabled there. So I just enabled it.
But I don't think that was the issue since it's doing updates to the software fine; just not the documents.
