Papal Document Ecclesia Dei?
OK, Having purchased the encyclicals and the apostolic documents of John Paul II/Benedict XVI, I was wondering why the 1988 motu proprio Ecclesia Dei was not included.

The different categories of John Paul II's papal documents were bundled in different packages. The motu proprios were part of The Audiences and Apostolic Writings of Pope John Paul II (11 vols.) set that was (unfortunately) pulled from pre-pub back in February due to lack of interest.
You can search the Internet Archive to see what used to be in that package:
I'm hoping some more of his texts get bundled differently and given another shot in pre-pub.

Ah that's disappointing. But thanks for explaining what happened to it.

is there any chance the audiences/apostolic writings of JPII will be back in prepub? I was extremely interested in that prepub, and was so disappointed to see it pulled.
I know there is a cost issue, but given that he was a pope AND a saint, his words would be so beneficial to have in Verbum.

Some or all of the documents may return, but they will be packaged differently.

If you're still interested in it, consider creating a UserVoice request for Ecclesia Dei specifically. Some of St. John Paul II's more notable documents still are not in Verbum simply because they weren't encyclicals or apostolic constitution.
