The on-screen bible is really useful and my people love it - but it needs some improvements.
The biggest problem with it is formatting of the text between verses, especially in the psalms or any poetry section. often the biblical text is rendered without spaces between the period and the next sentence. for example, if you create an on-screen bible for psalm 23 in the NKJV, you will see "A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; ..." Notice how the verses get run together without padding? This is really annoying and I get comments about it all the time.
I'd also like the option to render the verse numbers on the screen so people can follow along in their Bibles and so that the pastor can refer to verse numbers on the screen.
Finally, there is some strange behavior when you have overlapping verses in a single OSB, for example, if you do this:
Matthew 5:1-10
Matthew 5:1
The first and third slide won't render at all.
Or if you do this:
Matthew 5:1-10
Matthew 5:10
This will render 3 slides - 5:1-6, 5:1-10, and 5:10, but the second and third slide render verse 10 *twice* which is really strange. Also notice the verses have no padding in here, like in my Psalm 23 example above.
