Question about the Audiences of John Paul II resource
I just picked up the Audiences of John Paul II as part of the XL Catholic Studies Bundle (thank you, Logos, for the Christmas gift! ).
In going through it, I notice a lot of gaps in what audiences are available. I know this is likely related to the gaps in what English audiences are available on the Vatican website. A number of years ago on my blog, I had collected links to all the English audiences that were available on the Vatican website and compared them to the print "Catechesis on the Creed" volumes I own and noticed a few missing audiences (e.g. January 9, 1985; July 29, 1987). These same audiences are also missing from the Logos edition. This is in addition to all those audiences on Apostolic Journeys and other miscellaneous things that were not part of whatever catechetical series John Paul II was engaged in at the time and thus are also missing.
Is there any plan to add those audiences to the volume at some point in the future? I know it is probably much trickier as those audiences are not in English on the Vatican website. But there are already some audiences (such as from late 1979 and 1980) that are in the Logos edition but are not on the Vatican website. So it seems like there must be English texts somewhere.
I'd love for the collection to be truly complete.
Thanks!

I'd like to know.

We'd also love to have a complete archive. If we can find a source for what we're missing, we would pursue it.

I know this is an old post, but does the pending release of The Homilies and Angeli of Pope John Paul II (8 vols.) fill the gaps?

I would tend to doubt it. It seems to me that Verbum (through whatever deals with Libreria Vatican Editrice they have) basically offer the English (and sometimes Latin) texts of papal writings/speeches as they are appear and are bundled together on the Vatican website (http://w2.vatican.va/content/john-paul-ii/en.html). Since the "Homilies" and "Angelus / Regina Caeli" are separate categories from the "Audiences" on the Vatican website, I would presume it will not.
The problem seems to be that there are not English translations of the audiences regularly prior to 1997. You could get a more complete Spanish translation off the Vatican website. The gaps in the Verbum resource are exactly the same as the gaps on the Vatican website. Pauline Media had a six volume set on the "Catechesis on the Creed" (it is now out of print) which would fill some but not all of the gaps. You would still be missing the one-off audiences for Apostolic Journeys and other such special occasions.
The biggest gap is in the Catechesis on Mary (1996–1997). The Verbum resource has audiences #40–70 in that series but not #1–39. However, EWTN has all 70 audiences from that series on their page for the documents on John Paul II: http://www.ewtn.com/library/indexes/jp2.htm. You just have to Ctrl+f for "BVM" to find the audiences amidst all the other documents. Or else visit my blog where I have the links already organized: https://catechesisofthepopes.wordpress.com/major-themes/mary/audiences/. It would be nice to see at least these audiences make it into the resource.

Unfortunately, no. The homilies resource is the same as what shipped in the Verbum 6 packages. (I don't think we have the dynamic pricing set up correctly yet, but I'm working on it.)

Thanks Louis. I had pre-ordered this set. This sounds silly, I should know I guess [:$] ... Are you saying that as a Verbum Capstone owner I may already have it?
EDIT: Got confused... I do have the Homilies part already as well as an Audiences collection. You are refereeing to dynamic pricing for the Angeli portions, correct?

You have the homilies, but not the Angelus/Regina Coeli addresses.
