Suggestion: ditch transparency on startup logo
I like the new logos - logos as in branding/icons! [:P]
I would suggest though that the startup logo would look better with an opaque white background. I like transparency effects eg the blurred glass effects of Aero but the slight transparency here just makes it look odd depending on what's behind it...
