14th Sunday in Ordinary time the response psalm should be: Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.

NOT - For the leader. A song; a psalm.

Catholic Lectionary (Bellingham, WA: Logos Bible Software, 2009).

I have reported these types in the past; it would be nice if the Catholic Lectionary was fixed so it could be used as intended.

Welcome to the forums. The current implementation of lectionaries does not try to present the precise text of the lectionary. That means that the editing adding incipits, clarifying pronoun antecedents, cutting partial verses etc. does not happen. Rather the Logos lectionary is just a list of Bible references that dynamically show the text in your preferred translations.

As Logos/Verbum does not recognize Ps 66:1b but only Ps 66:1 the behavior you describe is the expected behavior.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

This might actually be an error in the official text.

According to the numbering of the NAB, the response actually comes from Ps 66:2a. The text, however, numbers it as Ps 66:1. I've assumed that the lectionary consistently uses the NAB numbering (even though the responses are ICEL translations that don't come from the NAB).

To complicate matters, we've got a bug in our NAB data type that aligns NAB Ps 66:1 with NRSV Ps 66:title-1; and NAB Ps 66:2 with NRSV Ps 66:2, when, in fact, NAB Ps 66:1 = NRSV Ps 66:title, and NAB Ps 66:2 = NRSV Ps 66:1. The result is that the incorrect number actually sort of works if you set your translation to something other than the NAB, but fails if you set it to the NAB. (And, if I correct the reference to use the NAB numbering, it will work for the NAB, but break entirely for other Bibles.)

It may take me a little while to sort out. (Hopefully not three years.)
