Using Remote On Air During Worship Practice Time

Our Worship Team practices on Sunday mornings before the service. I'd like to be able to flip through the slides On Air while we practice, to ensure that everything is correct and ready for the service. My problem is that if I put my presentation On Air, it just wants to run through the pre-service loop. If I choose to move ahead in the presentation, it jumps back to the pre-service loop. Is there something I am missing? I'd really like to be able to have the presentation On Air while we practice, so that everyone feels ready for the service.

Hi, Alexandra. There are a couple solutions that you could use:

You can select the service item you'd like to start on then press Shift + F5 (or right click on it and select "Go on air") to start at that point.
If you go on air in the pre-service loop, you can always Alt + Tab back to the main app window and navigate from there. I'd recommend that you use grid view to get the best visual layout of all your slides.

There seems to be more to this than meets the eye, I run thru the presentation every Sunday with no problem. The strange thing I'm referring to is her statement, "If I choose to move ahead in the presentation, it jumps back to the pre-service loop." I've never had it do this, could it have something to do with her service time?

So I think what is happening is your computer is running through the pre-service loop, which is causing the Proclaim remote to jump while you are controlling it. This should not happen, but I believe it does on the current version of the remote.

A way around this would be to not control the OnAir presentation, but instead find it in your list of presentations below the onAir ones. Then you can freely browser through the slides without having Proclaim move the slides out from under you.

Yes, you can go OnAir on your computer and have the slides on the screens, but on the remote click the offAir one to review.
