Table of Contents and Hyperlinks within word documents

I am creating a document in word. I want to have a table of contents that hyperlinks to specific sections within the same word document. I then want to import that document into Verbum using the personal book function and maintain the functionality of all the TOC links.

I tried using bookmarks in the word document but that does seem to work when I import it into Verbum as a personal book.

What is the best way to do get hyperlinks that work within the same document in Verbum? I want a functioning table of content in my imported personal book.

Use the standard hyperlink function in Word and they'll come across.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Links --> Hyperlink --> Place in This Document

Place in this document will show everything with a Heading Style or an anchor.

The key to this seems to be the use of the Heading style before you make the link. That was something I wasn't doing at first.

I have managed to get some of the same functionality by using the cross reference function in Word. It does import into Verbum but I will try your method and see if that gives me a better result. Thanks.
