Hi, Sharpe, and thanks for the report (and the logs!). It looks like you might be having some memory issues -- can you verify that you have plenty of free space on the machine experiencing the crash?
Hi Peter, my name is Toby, I am the Chaplain here at Sharpe Hospital. I am not sure but I may have discovered why Proclaim may be crashing but it does not make since.
I do have 250 GB of free space so I don't think that is the problem. But what I did find out is that after doing the update yesterday I went to my account documents and and made a duplicate of the service I did on May 8, 2016 which created a May 8, 2016 (2) presentation document. I then went into proclaim and opened that presentation (May 8 2016 (2)) and renamed it to use this coming Sunday, Aug 21, 2016. After opening that presentation then it would crash when using the open, Media, or going on air. However I was able to go to the file drop down and start a new presentation and open a different date and it appears to work fine on that presentation. however, going back t the new file that I made for Aug 21, 2016 it would crash again.
Hi, Toby. Thanks for all the info, it's been helpful to us while we're tracking down the cause of the issue. For now, don't open that presentation unless you're on a 64-bit operating system (it doesn't look like your current version of Windows 7 is 64-bit). The good news is that we've been able to reproduce the crash and are actively trying to get it fixed.
I'll update you when we've shipped a fix.
Toby, this issue is now fixed with today's update. Let us know if you have any further problems, and our apologies for the inconvenience this caused you.
Thanks Luke, I will let you know. I won't be back to work until Sunday, so if I do have a problem it won't be until Monday that I can contact you.
