SUGG: Folders in File Menu

As I use Logos longer and longer (and especially after importing my L3 stuff), the more cluttered my File menu is. I think that having the option of placing folders in that menu would be helpful. It would also be very helpful to separate file types. It is not convenient or simple to have Prayer lists mixed in with note files mixed in with clipping files mixed in with reading plans etc.

+1. Agreed.

Agreed. Can't remember the thread but someone else made a similar suggestion a week or so ago. It would be nice at least to see our files indented under the proper headings (Notes, Clippings, etc), and in alphabetical order, not in what seems to be last used order. Folders might be nicer and would be 'collapsible'.

Absolutely agreed - although they only need to be tags or virtual folders.

I actually like the last-used order. But they should only display the last 3-5 last used and then have the folders beneath that.

Here is a link to the thread Mark is referring to. I made this suggestion for the same reason as is being discussed. When you start to get a large number of notes, clippings, etc in the file menu it become cumbersome.Mark A. Smith said:Agreed. That is a tremendous idea! I have pondered your suggestion, and I think that you are correct. My L4 usage would be much improved if such a great idea were implemented.

Something quite like this feature suggestion is on UserVoice. If you like the idea, go vote for it there. You can probably spare one of your votes from one of the features that is definitely going to be implemented (several of the biggies that lots of people voted for are already done and will be shipping soon in 4.1).

*smile* Thank you for the good advice, Rosie! Should have done that without being reminded!
