How to force a sync of sermon docs on iPad?

I have edited a sermon and I would like to know how I can force a sync to ensure that the sermon is updated on my iPad. So far I have restarted it but I don't see the additions appearing.

How do the syncs work?....

    They should sync automatically.

You could try clicking the sync icon in the top left of L7 (circular arrows) to *force* it to sync everything to FL servers, and then check on your iPad. Or type "Sync Now" in the command box.

I'm sure I don't need to ask, but where are you looking for your Sermon Docs on your iPad!? They should appear in the Documents tab. Another option to is to try searching for the Sermon Doc title in the Documents tab.

One more question: have you updated the Logos app to 5.6.2!?

You can also try restarting the app on iOS (close it from the multitasking screen and re-open it). That typically initiates a sync process.

Yes, I've updated and I see the sermons. However I gave edit one and I would like to see it update on my iPad. It does eventually but I'm won how to "force" sync. Restarting etc doesn't do it. It seems like it checks in every hour(?)

How are you "restarting" the app?

Double click and swipe up. Then restart...... it syncs eventually, I'm just thinking of last minute edits. Love the feature!

Sermon Documents should sync immediately after a restart, assuming the Desktop app was sync'd after any last minute changes.

Ok. I'll see how it goes. Thank you for your work!

Update: Yesterday I preached with the new feature for the first time. It went well, in the morning I didn't adjust anything so the doc was good to to go right away.

In the afternoon I adjusted my evening sermon slightly but could not get the changes to go on to my iPad. I synced the desktop, restarted both the desktop and the app. I even left it for an hour but still it did not adjust my existing manuscript.

It was not till I added a "dummy sermon" from my laptop that it forced my existing sermon to adjust. This may be helpful in knowing why it's not updating automatically I don't know.

However it would be nice to have a "sync" button in our documents. It's vital to know we have instant access to what we have edited on our existing sermons.

On a whole I am excited about this feature it is my favourite of L7, it's awesome to have all my sermons (one day) readily available in one program. Thanks again!

I am unable to reproduce this issue. What version of the app are you using and an which device? Please see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/118697.aspx.

It may be a one off thing (?) I created a bug report in case it would shed some more light on it. Thanks
