Using version 1.35.0.0200 on a MacBook Pro. When I add a video to my presentation it will not play, even after it finishes downloading. I am using the software in a location that does not have wifi, but I do use a phone tethered to the computer over 3G to use if I need to. The only way to get the video to load is to delete it and add it back in again. Basically this is what is happening:
1) I create/edit the full presentation on Friday and Saturday over wifi. I close the program since the software is supposed to download everything locally so it can be used without wifi.
2) On Sunday morning I have everything loaded locally on the computer and head to church.
3) During service, the videos do not play, they pop up to the very first image for the video but they will not play, when you click the play button in the middle of the video nothing happens, it doesn't even recognize that you have clicked play. Almost as if the software freezes, but just on the videos only. I can click to the next item and it works fine, but the video never plays.
4) The only way the video seems to work is if I restart the computer and then reload Proclaim and delete them out a re-download them while my computer is using 3G from a phone that I use as a hot spot. However, it is important to note that even when connected to the internet the video I originally added will still not play, it only works after I restart the computer and software, then delete the video and add it back on.
It almost seems that if I add a video and then close the program for more than a few hours it refuses to work until I delete the video and add it back in. If I leave the software running in the background it works fine unless the computer goes to sleep and then the software acts the same way. I have to delete the video and add it back again.
I hope I am not the only one having this problem and someone else can validate my problem. Not sure if it is important to note, but I am using the software abroad in Italy.
