Commentary on Greek NT

Hey all, I'm not sure what to call it (e.g. Lexicon, commentary, etc), but I'm currently using the Greek-English interlinear to help build my translation skills. I'm looking for a resource that pinpoints key passages, words, and constructions and explains why that particular Greek syntax is used (e.g. why a participle here, why the Perfect tense there).

Can someone point me in the right direction?

There is Zerwick's Grammatical Analysis which can be used on its own but works best when combined with his grammar (both available from Logos).
The New International Greek Testament Commentaries focus on Greek.
You can use the Grammars section of the Passage Guide and Exegetical Guides to scour your grammars for references to a passage.
The Baylor handbooks on the Greek New Testament are also good for that. They are eight volumes currently available.
